We recently completed a bespoke stainless steel and glass balustrade project at the Viridor site in Croydon. This project showcases our ability to deliver high-quality, custom-designed solutions tailored to our clients’ needs.
Our balustrade team designed and installed a unique system using satin-finish stainless steel and clear glass panels. Each element was welded and polished to custom angles on-site, ensuring a perfect fit for the outdoor break area next to the main conference room. The design offers both safety and durability. It also enhances the aesthetic appeal of the space, creating an elegant, modern feature that complements its surroundings.
This project highlights the versatility of J&C Architectural. It shows how we meet diverse client needs beyond our core expertise in U-Channel Linit glass systems. We still provide custom-fabricated toughened glass from our trusted supplier in Germany, which has an 8-week material lead time. However, projects like this bespoke balustrade installation demonstrate our ability to handle a variety of challenges.

J&C Architectural continue to work with our glass manufacturer Lamberts GmbH to provide Linit glass, manufactured from start to finish in their factory based in Germany, whilst maintaining an 8-week lead time for Fabricated & Toughened U-Profiled glass from order to site.
